Hi, I'm Sue Romero.
I started Green Pencil Content to help you get more out of your website. I've met lots of small business owners and non-profit administrators who are experts at what they do but they don't have time to learn about writing content too.
There's the honest and kind-hearted property manager... There's the hard-working farmer who paints parking lot lines... There's the talented Irish cultural group who want to sell their CD.
These folks are busy with work that's far from web design, but they need effective websites to reach their audiences.
And so do you! Here's how it works:
Send me a note through my Contact Page or call the phone number at the top of this page. We'll talk in person or on the phone. It's up to you.
I'll ask lots of questions to get to know you, your business, and your goals. I'll listen carefully to understand the kinds of customers you want to attract and what problems you can solve for them.
Then I'll craft a message and draft a plan. We'll work together until you're happy with your new web content.
I've always loved to learn about new things and tell other people what I found out. That's probably why I decided to go to Syracuse University's S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications to study magazine journalism. I graduated with honors and lots of Daily Orange articles in my portfolio and went on to work in newspaper and public relations.
Most recently, I'm writing articles for Accent Monthly, a magazine published by the Utica (NY) Observer-Dispatch, and creating web content for small business and non-profit websites.
When I'm not in front of the computer, I'm playing trad Irish music with Craobh Dugan, exploring beautiful Upstate New York and spending time with my family and this adorable furry friend.
