A Writer, Teacher, and Life-long Learner
in One Package
At the age of nine, I decided to learn to speak French. Oui! C’est vrai. I checked out a few books at the local library - my favorite hangout. After several more years of A+ work through high school and college, I earned a degree in magazine journalism from Syracuse University's S.I. Newhouse School.
And then it was all words and classrooms up to this day, even a few years teaching English in Japan.
Learning for me is where all the fun is. I’ve taken in-person and online courses in everything from sewing to Irish singing, photography to figure skating, and several copywriting and content courses. I’d much rather watch Masterclass than Netflix.
